Growing up with big sistersI just love this he is so darn cute. Sister brother love what a bond they have, Liam has been exposed to things like cheerleading. He’s even observed the girls practicing in the livingroom more than once, and he finally decided this is something he could try, too.

The amazing toddler was captured by his mother, Michelle Rodriguez, nailing the cheer routine, beside his big sister, Amaya, at Kelly Lane Middle School in Pflugerville, Texas.

The little boy was even given pom poms to use as props in order to make his performance even more special.

The little one totally loved the whole thing. But, really, how good he is at following the girls and doing some of the steps right at this young age is just unbelievable.

His mom posted the video on her Instagram account and she wrote:

“When you’re 2 but you’ve watched too many living room cheer practices”

Michelle’s followers just loved it and it quickly was liked by hundreds of people and even reshared by local news outlets.

People just couldn’t take it! His talent and motivation are just too much!

“That’s GOLD” someone wrote, while another follower commented: “I just love this he is so darn cute. Sister brother love what a bond they have”

It’s really beautiful to see how siblings bond when they do things together, and it’s also inspiring to see parents encourage their children do what they like without even thinking twice.

“He is changing the hearts and minds of America already😍 He’s incredible and it’s all thanks to [Michelle] and his big sisters raising him to be the best human,” someone wrote on Instagram.

Thankfully, there were no negative comments below the videos, although there might be some people who feel confused when seeing a male cheerleader.

However, there might be some people out there believing cheerleading is a female sport. In fact, this is not even the case.

Cheerleading started out as an all-male sport back at the end of the 19th century, and women were not a part of it until the early 1920s, when gymnastics were introduced in cheerleadding.

We should not forget, after all, that cheerleading is not all about looks and entertainment. It requires skills and strength and it is not an easy thing to do.

It takes talent and lots of practice to get to a good level. And, it goes without saying, that both men and women of all ages, sizes, and regardless of their physical appearance should take part of cheerleading performances if they wish without being criticized or discriminated.
