Hot tubs are nice to have in your backyard. They can be so beneficial for your body, while they also give your home a lux touch.
Besides the fact that your home will look more posh with such an addition, there are also benefits for your body.
Namely, hot tubs help with stress relief, they help your muscles relax, they can potentially give you a better night’s sleep in the long run, while they can also improve your cardiovascular health.
Also, soaking in a hot tub can help get rid of some kinds of pain, while research shows that it helps with calorie burning.
Now that you have all the good reasons to get a hot tub for your backyard, it is also important to remember that it’s not a bathtub. And that’s why you are not supposed to treat it as one.
For instance, you should never put bubble bath in your hot tub because it could end up destroying your hot tub. It could even be harmful for you in the long run because of the bacteria that can form because of the bubble bath.
“The reasons for which using bubble bath in a hot tub is not recommended, are that it can affect the water’s chemistry, causing the formation of unwanted bacteria.
The general idea is that hot tubs are not intended to be used for bathing, and soapy products should be avoided,” experts explain.
However, a UK mom decided to ingore such warnings in order to make her two-year-old daughter happy.
Stacey Cowan, 40, from Carlisle, Cumbria, thought it would be fun to let her daughter have a bubble bath in their hot tub. So, she took some bubble bath mixed with washing-up liquid and started pouring the liquid in the hot tub.
The foam didn’t start forming right from the start, so the woman had no idea how much she was supposed to use, so she ended up using a little too much.
When the foam tower started forming, it was so much fun for the little girl. She got in there and started playing with the bubbles, which she said were “the best”.
The tower kept growing bigger and bigger, and, soon enough, little Lacey could not stay in the hot tub anymore.
In the video, Stacey keeps asking her daughter, “Who’s the best? Mommy’s the best!” Although adding bubble bath to a hot tub was NOT a good idea – you gotta admit, it is every kid’s dream come true.
Moments later, the hot tub was overflowing with foam, and the woman captured the whole thing on video.
The best- or worst- part was when a “foam cloud” was detached from the foam tower and it started wandering in their backyard.
It was kind of like a giant white tumbleweed that was exploring the area around the family’s home. At some point, it even bumped into a tree, but it just kept going.
The woman who is filming keeps commenting on the “cloud’s” journey, while her daughter can also be heard in the background gasping in surprise.
